The diary entries will be listed by date and time and grouped by the same date and time. Example: if there were two entries posted on the same day, they would be grouped together but kept separate from entries from another date.
You can also click on a particular date on the calendar to see entries from that date. The date will be highlighted in yellow to indicate that an entry was added on that date; if there was no entry added, the date will not be highlighted. You can click on the Archives and see all the entries added in that particular month. You can search for particular keywords in the search area.
In the login section, you enter your Username and Password and click ‘Login.’ After you login, you can either ‘Add New Post’ or ‘Edit/Delete Posts.’
In the ‘Add New Post’ section, you enter the title of your diary in the ‘Headline’ textbox. In the ‘Contents’ textbox, you enter your actual diary entry. If you press the ‘Reset’ button, the textboxes will be cleared. When you click the ‘Submit New Entry’ button, you will be taken to the entry preview page. You will see what your entry will look like after it is posted. When you click on the ‘Edit’ button, you will be taken back to the ‘Add New Entry’ page where you can edit your entry. If you click on the ‘Confirm’ button your entry will be added to the main page.
In the ‘Edit/Delete Posts’ page, you will be able to edit an existing entry and delete an existing entry. You click on the particular month that the entry is located and all the entries from that month will be displayed. Only the entries that belong to you will be displayed and cannot be accessed by anyone else. When you click on the ‘Headline’ of the entry, ‘Edit Mode’ will open up on the page. ‘Edit Mode’ consists of a ‘Headline’ textbox with you current headline in the textbox. Also, a ‘Contents’ textbox will open with your current entry in the textbox. When you click on the ‘Submit Changes’ button, your entry will be added to the main page. If you click on ‘Delete’, your entry will be deleted and cannot be recovered.
